Ooo pancakes sound good Sarb! We are all WFH so to mark the weekend differently I started the day with coffee instead of my usual original chaiwaller chai. It makes the weekend differently good and I get a coffee buzz for all the things I want to do! I walked the dogs, had a post walk spa, ordered seeds for my vege garden and watched a family movie. Now just listening to Don Letts while getting started on roasting a beast. Earlier in the week the wet weather funk really kicked in so it's been awesome to get outside but to also lean into the last of (hopefully) winter hibernation vibes- happy weekending everyone!

Hello from the UK.

I have not had a decent coffee since I arrived in West Sussex. Ugh Costa and Starbucks have never been on my radar so I’m not prepared to start now. Staying in an Irish household the kettle is on permanently for tea. It was my goddaughters 30 birthday last weekend in Maulden Bedfordshire I was a surprise to her!

Wonderful to reconnect with my

mothers side of the family.

Next weekend is Brighton Pride colourful, loud and proud. I’m looking forward to that it’s generally a photographer’s paradise! Maybe there might be a decent coffee Ha

Oh my gosh you had to mention pancakes Sarb. Of course I haven’t cooked since 1985 Ha!

How I miss my partners morning homemade thin pancakes. With the left over ones he then makes them into Vegetarian Dosas, so creative and tasty. Be well all.

What a strange start to the week yesterday. Started with some disappointing news, not being shortlisted for a writers residency (there are tough to fit in with a young family, and this was a short one for one week). Disappointing, but there you go. But later that morning, I got the news that my publisher had sold the rights to Finding Calm to another overseas market - which is wonderful validation. I also managed to get out for another 6 x (5mins walk + 1 min run) track run, and my legs feel reasonably good this morning. How's your week going so far?
